Rift View Cottages includes the Pool House, a luxury family cottage, and in addition four self-contained cottages, situated in the beautiful, tranquil countryside between Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita.

The Pool House
In the main building there are 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room and living room. There is internet access, DSTV and a swimming pool. You can eat and relax outside on the extended veranda or in the dining room cottage nearby.
Ibis Cottage
Ibis Cottage has its own en-suite bathroom. Guests can dine in the main building or in the dining room cottage. There is free internet access in all cottages.
Your stay in Kenya would not be the same if you didn’t hear the haunting call of the Hadada Ibis. Often found walking through the grounds of the cottages.
Lovebird Cottage
Lovebird Cottage has its own en-suite bathroom. Guests can dine in the main building or in the dining room cottage. There is free internet access in all cottages.
Lovebirds pair for life. They are playful and inquisitive and can be seen chasing each other around the trees between the cottages.
Weaver Cottage
Weaver Cottage has its own en-suite bathroom. Guests can dine in the main building or in the dining room cottage. There is free internet access in all cottages.
There are several species of Weaver bird at Rift View Cottages, such as the Baglafecht Weaver and Speke’s Weaver. You may also see the Red-headed Weaver. They weave intricate ball-shaped nests from strips of grass, twigs and roots.
Sunbird Cottage
Sunbird Cottage has its own en-suite bathroom. Guests can dine in the main building or in the dining room cottage. There is free internet access in all cottages.
There are several types of Sunbird to be seen around Rift View Cottages. The Bronze Sunbird, Variable Sunbird and Scarlet Chested Sunbird are regulars. If you are lucky, you might also see the Eastern Double-collared Sunbird.

Local taxi service can be arranged for collection from Nairobi (including JKA and Wilson Airport), Nakuru and Naivasha. Please call Wardah for costs.
Chef Available
A cook is available at a flat daily rate of KSH 1500. Guests can provide their own food, or we can prepare a select range of meals for an extra fee. We can source local produce if required – please consult with the manager for the cost of this service.
Laundry Service
Laundry Service will be available for guests. Details and costs can be obtained on arrival.
